PRINTED COTTON IS COMING -- OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY !!

NATIONAL COVERLET MUSEUM CELEBRATES
LINE OF PRINTED COTTONS
---------
PATTERNS TAKEN FROM COVERLETS IN MUSEUM COLLECTION

The Coverlet CollectionMary Koval, internationally known textile designer, in association with The National Museum of the American Coverlet (Bedford, PA) and Windham Fabrics (Jersey City, NJ) has announced the arrival of The Coverlet Collection, a line of high quality printed cotton fabrics using pattern motifs taken directly from antique handwoven coverlets in the Museum’s collection.

This groundbreaking, exciting new concept in printed cotton fabrics makes use of the glorious and graphic designs used in 19th century woven bedcovers. The cottons make full use of the coverlets’ strong visual texture and uniquely American design, taking them to a new level. The result is an extensive array of beautiful, fine cotton textiles, available now.

The Coverlet Collection fabrics are suitable for clothing, quilting, window treatments, and more – limited only by your imagination! The cloth is available by the yard, by the bolt, and in quilt kits and accessories.

A special weekend at The National Museum of the American Coverlet to helped celebrate the debut of The Coverlet Collection cottons.
