Mrs. Arnat at her loomChanging displays of coverlets from around the country are augmented by exhibits of ‘period’ weaving equipment. Museum visitors learn who the weavers were, where they came from, and how they lived. They see how coverlet designs, patterns and structures reflected evolving technology and popular tastes in the decorative arts of their time.

Special events include traveling and guest exhibits along with seminars, workshops and other activities geared for enthusiasts at all levels of coverlet study.

The research library is open to all members.
